Calendars
Each year the school opens in late August and closes in early June. Japanese national holidays are regular school days (unless parent/teacher meetings or other events are specifically scheduled on a holiday).
There is a one week Autumn break (end of October), approximately 3 weeks for the Winter break (mid December to early January), and a one week Spring break (end of March). Following the end of the academic year, summer camp begins and runs for four weeks (mid June to mid July).
Parent/Teacher Conferences (PTC) are held three times a year over a period of one week (during October, January and April). There are also three Professional Development (PD) days during the academic year when there is no school for students.
